In December, Hong Kong’s Mayse Artisan Bakery organized a screening of The Last Pig. At this “Cuddly Christmas” event the vegan bakery offered baked goodies and comfort food. Inspired by the season’s spirit of compassion, the organizers showed how food that doesn’t harm animals can be incredibly yummy. They invited local vegan businesses to share their goods as well.

45 people attended the screening – half of them non-vegan! The film sparked thoughtful discussion, and a meal of homemade vegan fare encouraged a sense of community.
This is just one of over 200 screenings for The Last Pig. Hosting a screening is tremendously rewarding – and easy! Thanks to VegFund for making many of these screenings possible! ♥ To learn how to host a screening, Click Here – and to read VegFund’s article Click Here!
