"EDUCATING THE MIND
WITHOUT EDUCATING THE HEART IS NO EDUCATION AT ALL."
THE LAST PIG CLASSROOM
THE LAST PIG has been crafted into four age-specific videos (college, high, middle, and elementary school) with companion teaching guides.
Developed by a team of humane educators, the guides build from the film’s core story and equip teachers with lessons that encourage reflection and thoughtful dialogue, while fostering character development. Each lesson meets U.S. Common Core standards and is consistent with widely used character education standards.
The story of THE LAST PIG encourages students to consider how their personal values and life choices influence the lives of other people, animals, and the environment.
Planting seeds of compassion in our youth is our most powerful tool for the future, and we've teamed up with Good Docs to bring The Last Pig to the world of education. Learn more!
"As an animal law professor and academic librarian, I recognize the tremendous need for fact-based humane education. I am grateful that such a film finally exists. We can only benefit from this visionary work."
