From the Director: The Journey Ahead

Updated: Sep 29, 2020

Hunkering down for winter always brings the opportunity to step back and reflect…

Since completing the edit, The Last Pig has been invited to 36 film festivals and had over 200 screenings in 34 countries. Even before its official release,

Bob’s story is opening hearts and minds across the globe. We’re tremendously grateful to all those who’ve organized screenings—and to our small but mighty team of volunteers who are helping to get The Last Pig out to the world!

Independent distribution is not for the faint of heart, and distribution plans are as unique as each film. We’ve been working hard with two excellent advisers to help determine the film’s trajectory. THE LAST PIG will have a public broadcast and will be available on platforms like Amazon and iTunes and on DVD — but not for another 6 to 8 months. For now, we’re focused on theatrical and community screenings, which help bring people together and spark important dialogue about ethics and compassion.

We’re also busy editing three special versions of the film for younger audiences and developing educational materials to be used with these videos in classrooms! Inspiring compassion in the next generation is crucially important, and we’re excited that Tugg EDU will help distribute The Last Pig in the educational realm! Big thanks to the Quinn Foundation for supporting this exciting project.

Since our public release is still a way’s off, we hope you might consider hosting a screening! We have a wonderful partnership with the nonprofit VegFund, which offers grants to cover screening fees and other related expenses (e.g. promotional materials and vegan food samples). You can find more about hosting a screening HERE – and we’re happy to answer questions and help in any way we can!

Thanks for your patience with the film’s release–and for your support and commitment to improving the lives of ALL beings. We love you for it!

I recently read an article on Valhalla Vitality discussing whether enclomiphene can influence appetite, and I found it very informative. The content explains that individual experiences can vary and that multiple factors may play a role. I appreciate the balanced and realistic approach. The information is clear and easy to understand. Definitely worth reading.

Nice post! It reminds me of games like animedle where you try to guess characters with limited clues.
